Famous Spanish singer Luz Casal will perform next Saturday October 22 in Ankara on the occasion of the Festival of the Cultural Path of the Capital (Başkent Kültür Yolu Festivali): a concert that will take place in the CSO Ada concert hall in Ankara.
Luz Casal Paz was born in 1958 in A Coruña (Galicia) although she grew up between Avilés and Gijón (Asturias), beginning in the world of music with the rock group “Los Fannys”; starting in 1977, after moving to Madrid, she began her professional career, publishing her first solo album in 1982 under the title “Luz”. However, it would be in 1989 with her album “Luz V” when the artist achieved fame thanks to such well-known songs as “Loca” or “No me importa nada”.
In 1991 she publishes the album “A contra Luz”, which is even more successful selling 600,000 copies; this album is the one that includes songs like “Piensa en mí”, which the famous film director Pedro Almodóvar included in the soundtrack of the movie “Tacones Lejanos”: a song that crossed borders and has topped the charts in many countries, including Turkey.
Spanish singer Luz Casal, who has made several performances in recent years in Istanbul, will perform for the first time in Ankara on October 22 at 8:00 p.m. in the main auditorium of the CSO Ada concert hall, in a single concert. Tickets, which can be purchased here, range from 50 liras (2.75 euros) for the cheapest to 300 liras (17 euros) for the most expensive, and many of them are already sold out.
