Inflation in Türkiye fell to 50% in March

The inflation rate in Turkey continued its downward trend and fell for the 5th consecutive month in March, standing at just over 50% compared to the same month last year. As published today by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), prices in the Eurasian country increased by 50.51% in March, slightly below the forecasts of analysts, who had anticipated a rise in the CPI of more than 51%. Compared to the previous month, February, prices in Turkey rose by 2.29% in March, according to data presented by TÜİK.
