The first Turkish aircraft carrier and the world’s first drone carrier, the TCG Anadolu, opened today its doors to the public in the port of Sarayburnu on Istanbul‘s historic peninsula. The ship, 231 meters long and 55 meters high (equivalent to a building of almost 20 floors), can be visited from 1:00 p.m. today by citizens, who will be able to tour the different decks and the takeoff runway.
Visitors will see aircrafts such as Bayraktar Kızılelma and Bayraktar TB3 drones, 4 AH1W attack helicopters, and 4 Seahawk SH70 helicopters parked on the take-off deck. The TCG Anadolu will remain anchored in the port of Sarayburnu in Istanbul and open to the public from today until April 23.
