Beşiktaş goal by Burak Yılmaz

Beşiktaş achieves his second victory with its new coach

The Istanbul team managed to win its 2nd match with Sergen Yalçın on the bench. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe exchanged positions, and Trabzonspor gets closer to the leader.

The Beşiktaş managed to impose itself with forcefulness and score three goals to his rival in the league match played on Saturday in Istanbul against Gaziantep, thus achieving his second consecutive victory with his new coach on the bench, despite the fact that the result has failed to move him of the 7th position it occupies in the classification of the Turkish league.

The first goal of the game would not come until the 52nd minute of play and would be made by Burak Yılmaz, who scored a penalty after the referee himself annulled a goal from his team for another previous penalty committed by those of Gaziantep. Yılmaz had also been a leading part in another goal previously annulled to Beşiktaş after only 4 minutes of the match beginning.

The second goal would come in the 70th minute and would be borne by the German player of Ghanaian origin Kevin-Prince Boateng, who received quiete help of the goddess Fortuna. Finally in the 5th minute of the discount, the Dutch nationalised forward Jeremain Lens scored the third with a great header from the penalty spot.

With this result the Black Eagles strengthen their position in 7th place on the board with 36 points, and achieve their second consecutive victory with Sergen Yalçın on the bench, following the decision of the directive to dismiss the former coach, Abdullah Avcı, for the bad results harvested this season.

Trabzonspor is emerging as a serious candidate to lead the Super League

In the rest of the matches of the 21st round of the Süper Lig, Trabzonspor reinforced its role as a clear rival to dispute the leadership of Sivasspor after defeating Gençlerbirliği 0-2 in Ankara, and is only one point away from the Sivas team, who could not pass the draw against which until this weekend was the 2nd classified, the Başakşehir.

The other two great clubs of the Super League, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, had very different performances; while the Yellow Canaries only achieved a draw at home and fall to 6th place away from the top positions, the Lions clearly defeated Kasımpaşa outside their stadium, allowing them to usurp Fener in 5th place.
